Seven Deadly Sins: Pride and Ego Handling

Maybe no ones really talk about this much, but ego is self-consuming like any other sins, especially lust.

Ego is a spectrum, sometimes it’s good, it gives me confidence and motivation. But most of the time, it can be really bad. Even too it’s only in my mind or in my heart, it consumes me, it makes me think I’m better and deserves more than others. It is self-degrading.

Having a big ego is like any other sins, it feels reallyyy good at the moment, but when I realize it, I feel so guilty and regretful. Ego is one of the sin that habitually happens in my life even if it’s not everyday.

This pride stuff can happen in my church service. Yes it can. When I play organ, I can feel that I’m better than other organists or maybe I’m better than any other people in my church because I hold one of the important roles in the church. Mainly because many people in the church know and recognize me.
