Introduction

A very brief talk about me

#life #tech #personal #music #college #religion

Oh boy here we go, I’m gonna yap about why I started this website, my personal life, and stuff that I do or did in the past. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Why?

Actually, I’ve been thinking to make a personal website along with the writing a longgg time ago, like 2-3 years ago. But I was too damn lazy and procrastinating a lot. And I was pretty crazy to make cool website with cool design and animations in the first place, which is pretty dumb. I mean, you can always improve your website later on, right? So yeah, I guess I’ll make it first and perfect it later.

Personal Life

I’m currently an undergraduate student Bina Nusantara University, majoring in Computer Science. I like tech and stuff, but my personal life is beyond that. I’m also musician (not that good tho), I’m a pianist 🎹 and an organist at my local church (yes I’m a catholic ✝️☦️).

Being a “College Student” 🏫

Here I am, your average CS student, doing all the typical stuff that a CS student does. Doing my assignments, doing my projects, and studying for exams. So I can have a good GPA (GPA is just a number bro, jk). I have good friends, and we often hang out together. We joke a lot in our classes, but we still pays attention to the lectures, i swear bro. I won competitions in software development with my good friends. Welp, I will make a dedicated post about that later on! Not only that, I’m exploring AI and machine learning in this semester, and it’s pretty fun! I hope I can make some cool projects with AI in the future. 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

Being a “Software Developer” 💻

I started learning programming when I was in high school, and I really enjoyed it. My first programming language was PHP, and I made some simple CRUD dynamic website with it (the time when I only knew about connection.php lol). Then I moved on to Java for my Android course, but hey I think Java sucks so I left it to dust lol. But there’s no regret cause I learned OOP from there. Then I learned about Javascript, I really like it, and I made some cool projects with it along with ReactJS, NodeJS, and MongoDB.

time skip to my internship at a SaaS company (and some skips on my freelance projects),

I was a frontend engineer there! My eyes were opened, I learned a lot about the real world software engineering, and I had a lot of fun working there (even tho it was layoff weeks when i got there for like 4 months?). I made some cool features for the company’s product, and I also learned about the importance of teamwork and communication in software development.

Until now I still code for fun, but it kinda boring now with no challenges, and this field is kinda saturated, especially with the rise of AI. So I want to explore other fields in tech, like AI and machine learning, and maybe even blockchain and web3. Or you know what, maybe Network Engineering and DevOps, who knows? I’m open to explore and learn new things.

Being a “Musician” 🎵

I’ve been playing piano 🎹 since I was just a kid. It was classical piano. Man, it was really stressful for me to learn music theory and reading scores. But still no regret, all of my musicality trained from there. When I was in high school I started to learn to being an organist. In Indonesia, we barely use Orgel, real Pipe Organ, or digital Organ like Rodgers etc. We often use Yamaha Electone. I guess Electone is a lot easier than orgel or piano, electone has some life easing features like transposing. The keys are more smaller and lighter, easier to reach and press, unlike the real organ keys.

Being a “Catholic” ✝️☦️

Rather than saying I’m that real Christian Catholic, I would say I’m a Christian who is still learning about the faith, and still trying to be a better Catholic. I was baptized when I was a baby, but I didn’t really understand what it meant until I was in high school. I started to learn more about the faith, and I really like it. I like the apostolic concept, the teachings, the concept of love and God, and the other values that Catholicism teaches. I do still question some of the teachings, but I guess that’s normal for a Christian, right? I’m still learning and growing in my faith, and I hope I can be a better Catholic in the future.

So I guess that’s all for now. I’ll be posting about more stuff in the future, like my projects, my thoughts about tech and life, and maybe even some music stuff. I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
